Are you a mental health professional, therapist, or certified coach?

We are not. Please see my Disclaimer.

We are currently offering services as a consultant/mentor. 

However, we are working towards obtaining coaching certifications and a PhD in Sexology and, once that is done, we will be able to offer services as a coach.

Are you a sex worker/do you offer sexual services?

No, while our business is sex-worker friendly and we recognize the important role sex workers play in our communities, we ourselves do not offer sexual services and adhere to all legal and ethical standards.

Is the information we discuss safe with you?

Absolutely! BEYOND TABOO maintains strict confidentiality with all client information. You can feel safe and secure sharing your information with us. We will never share information with anyone unless specifically authorized by the client through a signed release form. (A release form may be used, for example, if you require us to communicate with another professional involved in your care.)

Do I have to be kinky/in the BDSM lifestyle to use your services?

Not at all! We are happy to work with individuals and couples with diverse sexual interests, including those who do not identify with kink/BDSM. We can help you address a wide range of sexuality and intimacy concerns, such as Low libido, painful intercourse, body image issues, ED, sexual trauma, communication issues, performance anxiety. We strive to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of their background or preferences.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, absolutely! As a way of expressing our gratitude, we offer discounts to military veterans, first responders, and students. Please contact us to learn more about our discount program and how to redeem your discount. We appreciate your service and dedication!

What is an initial consultation session like?

Our goal is to help you, even if that means recommending another professional who might be a better fit for your needs. To determine the best course of action, we begin with an initial consultation, which can be 30 minutes or an hour long.

The consultation can be conducted via video chat or phone call, depending on your preference. If you choose video chat but prefer to maintain anonymity, you're welcome to conceal your face.

Before the session, we'll send you a few forms, including:

  • A brief questionnaire about your concerns

  • A consent form for discussing sex-related topics

  • A questionnaire about potential triggers, allowing you to set boundaries around sensitive topics.

We'll clearly set and respect your boundaries throughout the process. You can modify or revoke your consent at any time.

During the consultation, we'll review your intake forms and make introductions. You'll have a chance to ask me questions (within established professional boundaries), and you're welcome to share as much or as little about yourself as you feel comfortable. We'll discuss your concerns, any current treatments or relevant medical diagnoses, and your reasons for seeking our services.

At the end of the consultation, I'll recommend either continuing with BEYOND TABOO or suggest other resources if I believe those would be more suitable.

What is a follow-on session usually like?

As our business develops, we will be offering a variety of package services. Currently, follow-on sessions are scheduled individually and last one hour.

Exploring Sexuality and Intimacy

These sessions provide a safe and supportive space to explore your sexual desires, needs, and challenges. I'll guide you to:

  • Deepen your understanding of your body and pleasure

  • Develop strategies to enhance your sexual experiences

  • Improve communication skills

  • Explore new practices

What is your rescheduling/cancellation policy?

We appreciate your understanding regarding our scheduling policies. To ensure that we can accommodate all our clients effectively, we require 48 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. You can notify us by sending an email to [your email address].

We understand that unexpected situations may arise, but please note that multiple cancellations within a short period may result in our needing to re-evaluate our ability to provide you with services.
